RISKY BUSINESS: 2010 WITNESSING RETREAT - January 15-17, 2010

Sometimes it is hard knowing where to get started, who to talk to or even what to do...it all puts you out on a risky limb. At the Risky Business: 2010 Witnessing Retreat you will receive tools that assist you in letting your inhibitions loose to take hold of the passionate mission of spreading the Peace of Christ in ways best suited to you and your congregation's gifts and talents.
The format for the event is essentially a copy of last year’s WOWEE (Missionary Rally) held at Happy Valley. We will have three “tracks”, all of which center on mission and outreach:
1. Missionary Opportunities – led by President of Seventy John Wight
2. Small Group Ministry – led by Carman and Joan Thompson
3. Young Adult Ministry – led by Carla Long
We expect participants to receive some how-to type training as well as the inspiration of new ideas and “can-do” motivation.
The retreat will be held at our majestic Camp Buckhorn in Idylwild, CA, January 15-17, which is just around the corner.
